WThis is a home-style take on a beverage found on our latest cocktail list. This is a large-volume pre-mixed that's loaded with essence associated with Christmas time, making it perfect for a holiday party. Any leftover syrup to use in morning drinks, desserts, or to make additional servings of the drink.

For the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Put the listed items in a pot, bring to a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. Then, turn off the burner and let it to cool down fully. Transfer into a sealable bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, it will last for about a month.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix every liquid ingredients in a large bottle, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the premix into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir carefully for one minute until cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of mandarin oil over the top.
